The components of lithium ion battery are introduced

Steel/aluminum/cylinder/flexible packaging series:

(1) Positive electrode - the active material is generally lithium manganese oxide or lithium cobalt oxide, now there is lithium nickel cobalt manganese oxide material, electric bicycle with lithium iron phosphate, conductive collector using the thickness of 10-20 micron electrolytic aluminum foil.


(2) Diaphragm -- a special composite membrane that allows ions to pass through but acts as an insulator for electrons.


(3) Negative electrode -- the active material is graphite, or carbon with a similar graphite structure. The conductive collector uses electrolytic copper foil with a thickness of 7-15 microns.


(4) Organic electrolytes -- carbonate solvents containing lithium hexafluorophosphate are dissolved, while gelatinous electrolytes are used for polymers.


(5) Battery shell -- is divided into steel shell (now square rarely used), aluminum shell, nickel plated iron shell (cylindrical battery use), aluminum plastic film (flexible packaging), as well as the battery cap, is also the positive and negative terminal of the battery.
